The achievements of Ihsan Danish are somewhat extraordinary. He was very much a common man, in fact a " mazdoor shair." Growing up amid literary giants such as Josh, Faiz, Firaq and Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi, Danish Sahib's stature as a poet of class rose while he continued to work with his hands. His mind was, perhaps, working faster!
