Allama Mohammed Iqbal

No doubt he remains one of the greatest Urdu poets of this century. A poet, philosopher and politician, Iqbal drew extensively upon his wide academic background, command over Farsi and Arabic and his indepth knowledge of eastern and western philosophy.
Selecting his poetry for inclusion in this forum is like picking up dew drops from an ocean.
However, I will endeavour to present some of my favorites, Insha-Allah.
