DVC - NOBCChE has several educational programs. The more prominent ones are the
the Regional Science Bowl Competition which attracts more than
300 students, the Super Science Saturday Academy at St. Joseph's
University, and the Trajectories/Project Scholar Programs
at Cannan Baptist Outreach Center.
The focus of these programs is to emphasize the value
of and to strengthen science education by working with students, teachers, school
administrators, and persons in higher education, industry and government. At the local and
regional levels, chapters year-round conduct a wide variety of activities, including lectures,
seminars, technical workshops, classroom demonstrations, tutoring, mentoring, and financial
support.
