NOBCChE WEBSITE POLICY |

Objectives:
- Increase the exposure of NOBCChE to the scientific community.
- Provide guidelines for the establishment and content of websites which are consistent with current official NOBCChE policies.
- Provide a mechanism to formulate, guide and shape future internet applications.
Policy:
- The National Website Committee (NWC) will be responsible for formulating and implementing National Website policies with the concurrence of the National Executive Board.
- All websites representing any part of NOBCChE must be reviewed by NWC and approved by the Board Chairperson. Approved websites will receive a link to the National Website.
- Websites will be reviewed periodically to assure continued compliance with this National Website Policy.
- No representation of NOBCChE which has been deemed inappropriate by the Chairperson of the Board is permitted to be placed on any other website by NOBCChE members.
- Solicitation of revenues from sales, ads, or otherwise is prohibited unless reviewed by the National Website Committee (NWC) and approved by the Chairperson of the Board.
National: Sales and ads of a local nature as well as local dues should be allowed on local websites. Sales, ads from national corporations/organizations and National dues should only be solicited on the National website.
- The NOBCChE News Magazine will receive a portion of all revenues generated from the National website ads.
- The National Website Committee will be available for suggestions to regions and local chapters designing websites, upon request.
Implementation:
1. The NWC will be responsible for maintaining the National website.
2. The NWC will review all NOBCChE websites and make appropriate recommendations to the Board Chairperson.
3. Letters of approval or noncompliance will be sent to web designers and signed by the Board Chairperson.
