Arm & Hammer Baking Soda / Church & Dwight Co. Items for sale.

Just a few items to give you an idea of what my stock of Arm & Hammer material is like. I have thousands of single cards from nearly all of the Arm & Hammer series, including Birds, Dogs, Cows, Animals, Flowers, Fishes, trade cards, recipe books, posters etc etc, as well as many complete sets of some of the series. There are a number of books specifically for the Arm & Hammer collector, they are detailed below and I usually have them instock.

1. CHURCH & DWIGHT CO., ADVERTISING AND SODA BOX CARDS - A DESCRIPTIVE GUIDE
. Written and compiled by John D. Hodge, c.1994, self published. A monumental 102 page work listing all the Arm and Hammer card series AND the varieties, with tables, pictures and checklists. Soft cover and cloth binding. This is probably THE book for the Arm & Hammer insert card collector. This edition is currently out of print, but the author has issued a new expnded version published in 2002. For copies contact him direct at AHbooks77@aol.com

2. CHURCH & DWIGHT TRADING CARDS - AN ILLUSTRATED CHECKLIST
Written and compiled by Jim Nicewander and published by The Phoenix Proprietary Publications, Wisconsin, c.1991. A 27 page, card cover spiral bound book with checklists for all the images in the various Arm & Hammer insert card series. A great book for someone who just wants a checklist for all the card series. This is currently out of print with no chance of getting other copies - if you see one around - snap it up. I may produce and issue my own version of this handy reference book..

3. SALERATUS - THE CURIOUS HISTORY & COMPLETE USES OF BAKING SODA
Written by Peter A. Ciullo and published by the Maradia Press CT, c.1994. Card covers and 182 pages of fascinating historical facts on Baking Soda and its uses around the home, in baking, and the enviroment. Even has recipes!. This is a very useful and informative addittion to the Arm & Hammer collectors library, and neat and fun to read also. Price is $12.95 ea., plus $2.00 for shipping via regular mail, or $4.00 for Priority Mail.
