ITEMS TO SELL?
Did Uncle Joe, Aunt Clara, MomMom, or PopPop or
some other relative leave you a collection or accumulation of cigarette cards, trade
cards, gum cards or other paper ephemera that you don't know what to do with?
Are you a long time collector and decided that it is time for a change, or time
to capitalize on your collection?
If so, consider contacting me and letting me evaluate your items and make an
offer for your collection. I can travel throughout the US to view larger size
or more valuable collections.
SELLING: For a straight offer to
sell, I can make a firm offer soon after seeing the items, either by visiting
you at your location if you are in traveling distance or the size of the
collection warrants it, or you can send them to me via Registered or Priority

EVALUATIONS for INSURANCE or ESTATE EVALUATION PURPOSES: For a standard evaluation or appraisal of a
collection, I can provide, for a fixed fee for small collections ($100.00 -
$2000.00 appraised value), an Expert Opinion with Documentation and
recommendations for disposal of the items to ensure realization of the best
market price. This would usually consist of a one page overview documentation
of the collection and an estimate of its total potential resale value, with
identification and recommendations for specific items that merit it.
Appraisal rates for larger collections (appraising at $2000 and up) would be
negotiable depending on size and content of the collection and the extent of

CONSIGNMENTS: For a small
reasonable commission, I can also take items on consignment, either to place
directly with other collectors, both here in the US and Internationally; or, to
take to the many Antique Paper, Collectibles and Nonsport and Sports Card shows
that I do throughout the year, in the US and in Europe; or, to promote the
items on my WEBSITE or through my various Internet auction offerings. NOTE my
commission is due ONLY on the prices realized for items - if they don't sell, my
services in this area cost you NOTHING (with the exception of any
non-refundable auction listing fees which are usually very small). If you have
some flexibility in your expectations, and are not in an hurry, then this

POINTS TO CONSIDER & REMEMBER
1. Generally scarcer and/or older material gets better prices.
2. Just because an item is old, does not mean it is valuable.
2. Condition is important, low condition low prices, high condition better
prices.
3. Prices realized in Auctions do NOT reflect general retail market prices.
4. All statements or estimates of potential value or retail expectations are
just that, and final value can vary depending on collector interest, market
demand and even the time of year. The final test of a item's value is
determined by actual market conditions, and the price realized for the item in
the market place.
