Is Yoda Amish!?

The upcoming release of the first episode of Star Wars has brought up many question on what the story line might pursue.  My personal belief is that Lucas should focus on Yoda's past.  We have tried to figure out Yoda's past with different aspects of A New Hope, Return of the Jedi, and The Empire Strikes back, and we have concluded through intense research that YODA IS AMISH.

The parallels are uncanny!  Here we have listed a few things that make them similar:

The Amish

Yoda

The Amish speak English, but to today's standards their English sounds very funny.  EG:  "Thee shall milk thy cows." Yoda's English is also very strange sounding to the normal English Speaker. EG: "Why wish you become Jedi? Hmmm?"
The Amish believe that to go to Heaven they must be separated from the modern world. Yoda was also very separated from any civilization.  Degobah was not swarming with that many lifeforms.
The Amish believe that man should not ruin the world with electricity. Degobah was not powered by anything.  Yoda had to fight R2-D2 for a lamp.  (Possibly his only source of light besides fire?)
The Amish have strange names like Jebediah and Ezekiel. Yoda is not a very common name nowadays.
Amish has an 'A' in it. Yoda has an 'A' in it.
The Amish have been in three movies (Kingpin, For Richer or Poorer, and Witness). Yoda has been in three movies. (Return of the Jedi, The Empire Strikes Back, and The Phantom Menace... so far).
Harrison Ford was in Witness. Harrison Ford was in the Star Wars Trilogy.
Amish males do not have beards, unless they are married. Yoda is not married, and he has no beard.
The Amish do not believe in wearing make-up. Yoda does not wear make-up.
Weird Al wrote a song called "Amish Paradise." Weird Al wrote a song called "Yoda."
The Amish never carry lightsabers. Yoda never had a lightsaber in the movies.
An Amish person would be easy to distinguish in a crowd. Yoda would be easy to identify in a crowd.

Please e-mail me if you discover any similarities... or if you just want to commend me on a job well done.

Although Frank Oz provides the voice for Yoda, no connection has been made to Miss Piggy or Cookie Monster being Amish.  We have deployed a full investigation into the matter and for other Muppets that seem strange.
