My pride and joy, 7 months, 14 days old and working on his 4th tooth!

My name is Karen Cork. I am the proud mother of Griffin "Preemie Power!" Cork, born at 32 weeks gestation due to complete placenta previa. I designed this page to not only help women get the "low down" on their PLACENTA PREVIA, but also to show off my Griffin (aka 'Pickle' or 'Porkchop' or 'Buh Buh'). I recommend that you avoid this site UNLESS you are SURE that you will have a pre-term infant, or if you are now the parent of a preemie baby. THIS SITE HAS SAVED MY LIFE SINCE COMING HOME WITH MY PREMATURE SON. It is a wonderful source of information, support, questions and answers about everything and anything, and most of all..Friendship. There are, however, some disturbing stories and topics that may only cause a PP pregnant woman even more worries.

Inkan's Bed Rest Resource
Here is a site that you WILL NOT WANT TO MISS if you are on bed rest due to Placenta Previa. Inkan's Preemie Home Page is a celebration of bed rest (Inkan did not have PP, but PROM - premature rupture of the membranes) and spent some gosh awful long time in bed. WELL...she has a page of her site dedicated to "what to do if you are stuck in bed", plus some fabulous photos of she and her Swedish men (one big, one little)
