Dates for 2001's festa: September 13th-23rd. This festival (initiated in 1926) is held annually along Mulberry Street, the remaining area of Little Italy, in lower Manhattan. Most popular features of la festa: food, games of chance, the atmosphere. Terrorism cancelled the Feast in 2001, which would have been its 75th Diamond Jubilee. |
