A letter from Jill Walker with pressing questions regarding the largest police action in MN history.

Read a letter from the encampment from Diane Kerr and Jim Anderson

There was a rally at the State Capital Building in St. Paul on Wednesday, October 14th at noon. While this was going on MN DOT, Minnesota State Patrol and the Minneapolis Police raided the encampment to cut the utilities to the occupied houses.

See for yourself

On the morning of December 20 the largest police action in Minnesota history was used to arrest 37 non-violent protesters and then the occupying houses were demolished.

Dick Bancroft, a press photographer covering the raid, was arrested and had his equipment confiscated. When he was allowed to retrieve his gear the film he was shooting was missing.

At a gathering at the Walker Church members of the encampment spoke of their arrest and the abuse they suffered on the morning of December 20th.
