2004 Summer Project - AOL Quilting Community - Any Way You Slice It! Part One

Any Way You Slice It!
presented by AOL Quilting Community Volunteers

Step One

Summertime and the living is easy..... This is a very quick project for your summer sewing. Gather up your fabric - I wouldn't be surprised if you can get most, if not all, from your stash. While you are digging through your stash,
why not consider sewing one for your house and one to give as a giftie?

Relax and enjoy this fun summer project.

Sewing Directions

Grab up all those green and red/pink 3-1/4” squares
and begin sewing them together ...
green/red/green/red/green/red/green/red/green/red
That's one row, make three rows.

Then …
red/green/red/green/red/green/red/green/red/green
(do 2 rows like this)
All your squares should be sewn up now.

Sew the two rows together in checkerboard fashion.
Remember those two white rectangles?
Now sew one rectangle to each end.
