 The lodge has been rebuilt af an old german fort. It is situated near            Sesfontein in the north- west of Namibia where the Damaraland enters the  Kaokoveld. You get there on good  prepaired gravel roads from  Kamanjab or Khorixias after 4 hours drive.

 The fort is a gateway to the Kaokoveld and oranised guided daytours by  4x4 cars in a  fascinating area of Africa. Enjoy on individual tours with max.  4 guest per vehicle the desertelephants in the rivers, the proud tribe of the Himbas in the Kaokoveld and rockpaintings at SOSOS from former times of the hunters showing the world live of Africa.

Die Lodge wurde aus den Ruinen eines alten, ehemals deutschen Fort wieder aufgebaut. Sie liegt bei Sesfonteln, im Nord-Westen Namlbias, wo das Damaraland auf das Kaokoveld trifft. Man erreicht sie über gut ausgebaute Schotterstrapen von Kamanjab oder Khorlxas In 4-stundiger Fahrt.

Als Tor zum Koakoveld organisiert das Fort fachkundig geführte Tagestouren mit Geländewagen in eines der faszlnlerendsten Gebiete Afrikas. Erleben Sie die Wildelephanten in den Revieren, den stolzen Normadenstamm der Himbas im Kaokofeld und Felsgravuren aus der Buschmannzeit in SOSOS.
