I Forgot About Janine!

I walked in the kitchen, and saw Janine sitting at the table.

There she is, the one for me! But I don't know how to tell her! I know she likes me, the guys tease me about it all the time!

I sat next to Janine at the table. I took out my fungi book.

"Hey Egon, how would you like to…."

Then you put it in the fridge for about two hours….

"…sometimes?" Janine said, but I didn't hear all of it.

Did I miss something? She said something, didn't she? Okay, I will just be a normal gentleman.

"Pardon? Did you say something?" I asked. Oh! I sounded like a complete idiot!

"No, never mind," Janine answered, and walked out of the room.

Okay, maybe I did it wrong, I was supposed to listen, wasn't I? Let's try this again. I will sit next to her on the couch.

I sat down on the couch and read the equations in my book. 2 divided by 3 minus 1.5 plus…

"Egon can I talk to you?" Janine asked. I stopped reading.

"Yes," I answered. This time I got it!

"How would you like to…." Janine said, but I didn't let her finish.

"1.5! that's it! The answer to the equation that I've been trying to figure out for weeks!!" I yelled, and ran upstairs.

OOPS! I forgot about Janine!
