After my eye surgery I have been experiencing a continuing state of aesthetic overwhelm at the absolute beauty of the world and find myself so stunned that I cannot even pick up a piece of chalk. I have taken to photographing what I am witnessing.
Ocean Beach at Sunset
Sunset from my back porch How can I even begin? The beauty is overwhelming. When I went out to do cherry blossoms last spring I was mesmerized by the reflections of light on the branches and all I could do was stand in awe. I had gone legally blind before the surgery, so I guess it may take some time to adjust. Right now I am simply basking the beauty of this lovely planet.
