| Belt Escape |
 |
1. While your opponent is mounted on you, place
your foot in his belt as shown. You must be especially careful in this position
not to fall into a choke or armlock - so while you're setting this up, keep
your arms tight to your opponent's body, and your head to his belly. |

2. Once your foot is in his belt, use a combination
of your leg pushing away & escaping your hips to the side to create space.

3. Once the space you need is created, slide your
shin between your opponent's legs. |
 |
4. If legal in your competition - apply a foot
lock by squeezing your knees together, hooking your opponent's heel as shown,
and twisting your body (in this case) to the left while applying pressure
with your left leg to the right. |
