The Douglas Register, 1750 - 1797 Edited by W. Mac Jones, 412 pages, index, [1928] 1994. This work contains the records of the Rev. William Douglas who ministered in the St. James Northam Parish of Goochland County, Virginia the King William Parish [Maniken Town], and the charges in Buckingham County, Virginia. The records include births, christening, marriages, deaths and funerals in the above counties as well as many of the adjacent counties. In 1777 Rev. Douglas moved to Louisa County, but he kept up his records through 1797. Thus this information covers a period of ninety-two years. There is also an index to Goochland County wills and notes on the French-Hugeunot refugees who lived in Manakin-Town. Item # DRH90878 Cloth $49.95
