Suport Dallas' 80C390 Microcontroller

. . . . EAST SALT LAKE CITY, UT - Like all of Dallas Semiconductors’ High-Speed Micros, the DS80C390 delivers up to three times the processing capability per clock cycle as compared to a standard 8051. At a maximum crystal speed of 40 MHz, the DS80C390 has an apparent execution speed of 120 MHz, for a gain of ten times the performance of the original 8051 architecture. An internal frequency multiplier provides full speed 40 MHz operation with a 10 MHz crystal frequency. A math accelerator with 40-bit accumulator performs high-speed 32- and 16-bit multiply, divide, shift, normalization, and accumulation functions in dedicated hardware.
. . . Aside from standard 8051 resources the DS80C390 integrates an additional 8-bit I/O port, a second serial port, seven additional interrupts, programmable watchdog timer, brownout monitor/interrupt, powerfail reset, and a programmable IrDA clock. In addition, 4 kilobytes of on-chip SRAM can be flexibly configured in various combinations of memory functions.
. . . RAD51/390 is a Windows 95/98/NT assembly code development environment, and the first firmware tool to support the 24-bit flat memory mode of the 80C390. RAD51/390 accepts standard 8051 instructions such as LCALL and generates new extended-address operands, in a standard Intel HEX file.
. . . Key Features include: 6-24 VDC power input with high efficiency, low noise switching power supply - all processor ports brought out to clearly labelled headers - prototype area for DIP, SIP, ZIP, and wide and narrow SMT SOIC packages - industry standard SBX connector for easy I/O expansion - two pushbuttons and test LEDs - standard euroboard 100x160 mm size fits hundreds of enclosures - optional keypads and LCDs can plug into SBX mezzanine boards.
. . . Price of the mCAN2 microcontroller development board is $350. RAD51/390 software is also $390, or $290 when purchased together with the mCAN2. Secure on-line ordering and technical data are available at www.systronix.com
