ATTENTION VISITORS

I received an email yesterday from AOL saying that they were sorry to inform me that
on Oct. 31, 2008, AOL® Hometown and FTP will be shut down permanently. They
sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. In other words they aren't
making any money serving their customers so they are going to screw us again.

For 10 years I have had all my pages, including my AWWP ezine on AOL. As of the
30th they will all disappear. I am now looking for a new server that I can load my
pages to and resume AWWP from. If it is in my budget I am going to acquire anphog.com
or anphog.org but will still need to pay someone to use their server or buy one of my own.

The last AWWP will go out on October 26th but I will save my email list and I will be back.
Any of you who want to be put on my mailing list so you know when my pages
have returned click the link below and send me an email.
I appreciate all who visit my pages.

The cute and acceptable ones

The above two cute little lizards are Green or Carolina Anoles and are
native to the southeast. They eat mostly insects.

These two young fellas are Cuban Anoles and are not natives. They
were brought into Florida on cargo ships and have almost taken
over the Green Anoles territory. Their diet also consists of mostly insects.

Fence Lizard

This is a nocturnal lizard. It comes out at night and catches
the bugs flying around the porch light.

This is a Bearded Dragon and is native to East central Australia and average
18 to 24 inches long. Their diet consists of plants, fruits, and insects.

Green Iguanas are popular pets. They can be paper trained and are
interesting to watch. They will eat a variety of fruits and vegetables.

Rhinoceros or Rock Iguana is native to the
Calicos Islands in the British West Indies.

The Gopher Tortoise is native to the Southeast US. It gets it's name
from digging a hole or burrow in the ground to lay it's eggs. It often
shares it's hole with snakes or other animals in need of shelter. The
female will lay around 100 eggs but only 1 to 3 will survive to be an
adult because of predators like the Raccoon, Opossum, Fox, and Armadillo.

Soft Shelled Turtle

I also have a list that I send new photos, old photos, and recent
adventures. I started it a year ago with 5 friends and it has grown
to over 500 friends all over the world. Here are the last four sends.
