Marklen has produced, directed, written
and/or acted in more than thirty productions for film, stage,
radio and TV. After starting out in theatre in shows such as South
Pacific and Little Shop of Horrors, he moved into
television and feature films. Since moving to Los Angeles, he's been working steadily as an actor. But he's not just an actor--Marklen holds a BA in Public Relations/Advertising with a minor in Journalism from Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas. After competing collegiately in Division I football and being named All-Southwest Conference, Marklen moved to Los Angeles and
pursued the family tradition.
