Al, on a Bad Hair Day

During a lifetime of playing Rockabilly, Bop, Folk, and Pop music I've written a lot of songs. More than 500, I expect. I probably have a song on about every topic with the possible exception of how to clean your Black and Decker tools. I was pretty compulsive about it.

Many of my songs started out as simple poems, but I think they make for some interesting reading, even without the music to propel them. These are some observations I've made about life, music and women, and aluminum siding. Maybe some of it will ring a similar chord inside of you. "Oh yeah, I've thought about that stuff too...."
