Doug Overman OvermanLlamas 11353 E 350 N Otterbein, In 47970
Doug , Kamala and their two children, Brittany and Doug have been raising and showing livestock for several years. Doug has been in the Apartment rental business for the last 27 years.
They started with raising cattle and switched to a herd of 65 registered Hampshire Sheep. After raising and showing sheep for a few years, Doug went to a llama show. It did not take long for the family to realize the sheep had to go, and they started buying llamas from all over the United States.
They maintain a herd of 65 llamas with 6 breeding males.
Doug started the 4-H program in our county and still is active in it today.
Everyone in the family is active in with the llamas from showing to 4-H to everyday care.
They try to attend 12 to 15 shows per year.
Doug is on the board of directors of the LFA. |
