The
2001 For the third straight year, the original artwork for our Ohio Stadium Cake invitation was drawn by local artist and Stadium Cake Crew Member Deb Papesh. The 2001 artwork depicts the north entrance to college football's greatest venue with the Jesse Owens Memorial in the foreground. In addition to appearing on the cover of the Eleventh Annual Ohio Stadium Cake Invitation, 200 limited edition prints of the 2001 sketch were made available in exchange for a $10.00 donation to the Stadium Cake Scholarship Fund. Each print was signed and numbered by the artist. These signed and numbered prints are NO LONGER AVAILABLE. We have a few prints from other years still available in exchange for a donation to the Stadium Cake Scholarship Fund. Eleventh Annual Ohio Stadium Cake Sets Another Fundraising Record! The fundraising for the Eleventh Annual Ohio Stadium Cake began early in the 2001 football season. Generous pledges were made by Student Loan Funding Resources, National City Bank, Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP, and Educaid. Although a few contributions are still coming in, loyal Buckeye fans (and even a few Boilermakers) contributed $4,482, exceeding last year's total by moe than $1,000! Way to go Buckeye Fans! |
