"Today, we are all thinking about what each of us can do in making the world a better place for every man, woman and child to live in. We must not forget to include the animals in our programme, they too must have a better world to live in as well as ourselves."
Maria Dickin - Founder of the P.D.S.A. (People's Dispensary for Sick Animals)
Me holding model of Exmoor Beast
The care of animals, especially sick and injured ones, and the education of children to become aware of the wonder and extraordinary importance of animals in our world are subjects that have always been and will always be very close to my heart; they evoke the humanity in all humans - or should do. The following websites are of especial worth and significance. Please give them all the support that you can.

Roger Pearson - The Animal Man (the official site of a longstanding friend of mine, whose nickname 'The Animal Man' is affectionately known throughout much of the West Midlands, England, and beyond, thanks to his pioneering wildlife lecture service for schools, founded in 1968 - in which, rather than merely utilising films or photos, Roger brings real animals from his wildlife park at Smestow Watermill into the classroom, to reveal to generations of children the true wonder of living creatures)
