HI, MY NAME IS SHARON.  THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO STOP BY AND PLAY. FIRST LET ME SAY THAT EVEN IF CHATTY CATHY WASN'T CONSIDERED A COLLECTIBLE DOLL I WOULD STILL COLLECT HER. YOU SEE, FOR ME CHATTY CATHY IS A CHILDHOOD MEMORY, A FEELING OF INNOCENT DAYS LONG GONE. I DIDN'T ACTUALLY START COLLECTING HER UNTIL 3 YEARS AGO. BUT I ALWAYS CARRIED HER MEMORY WITH ME AS I GREW UP AND BOUGHT DOLLS FOR MY OWN LITTLE GIRLS.  AFTER THEY LEFT HOME,  IT WAS TIME FOR ME TO START LOOKING FOR MY CHILDHOOD DOLL. As my collection grew I ran out of space in my small house to display all my dolls. My husband came up with the idea to turn a small unused attic room into a house for Chatty and friends. He made small 2"x4" cubicles that we used for Chatty sized rooms. I painted and decorated each one to be a room in a house set up like a big doll house.

Small Chatty size furniture was put into place, as I scoured flea markets, antique malls, and even toy stores for just the right things for their house. As you look through my pages note that most of the clothes seen are made by some of the very talented members of The Chatty Cathy Collectors club.
