Downloading Open tUME
Taking a guided tour
If you would like a guided tour, you should download TUMEDEMO.ZIP.
Unzip to a folder (e.g., C:\tUMEDemo) using the "Use Folder Names" option.
Run the batch file DEMO2.BAT for the short demo, or DEMO1.BAT for a longer demo.
Creating and editing maps
If you wish to use Open tUME to create or edit maps, you should download
README.TXT, TUMEEXE.ZIP, TUMETOOL.ZIP, SAMPLES.ZIP and TUMEDOCS.ZIP.
Converting map data into game data
If you wish to convert the Open tUME data into a form usable in your
game, you should download TUMETOOL.ZIP, DUMPTUME.ZIP, TP16.ZIP, TPBIN.ZIP,
EGGSSRC.ZIP and TUMEDOCS.ZIP.
Modifying Open tUME
While Open tUME is very configurable (read TUMECONF.DOC contained in
TUMEDOCS.ZIP for more information), you can now modify the Open tUME source
code by downloading TUMESRC.ZIP, EGGSSRC.ZIP and TUMEDOCS.ZIP.
