Da'KATZ!

Fritter came from the barn on the farm where I board my horses, and Little Bit was adopted by Fritter when he went to the vet to be neutered. Little Bit was born in a dumpster and brought to the vet to be an office cat... Fritter had other plans...

Above: His Imperial Highness Little Bit shows Fritter who's boss!

Fritter is 6 months old in these photos, Little Bit is 2 months old!

Fritter in maturity shows off his glorious curly tail. He can straighten it out when relaxed. All the cats at the barn from which he came are "unusual" in some way--including his brother and nephew below.

"Cuddles"

Cuddles-We think Cuddles is a Scottish Fold without the "fold"--the folded ears characteristic of the breed, as he looks just like one (and the folded ears are a recessive trait and many Scottish fold kittens are born with regular ears). He was adopted through our vet (we met him when we took Infant for his neuter). Cuddles is our busybody--always ip to something, whether it be throwing my bedside lamp on my head to wake me up for petting, or tearing through the house with the other cats and a couple of the bunnies! "Cud's" motto is "World Domination!" and although he's our youngest cat, he runs the show here.

"Infant"

"Infant" a.k.a. Cyril the Russian Grand Duke. Infant is Fritter's brother and nephew (hey, these are KY cats!) sired by Fritter's father out of Fritter's full sister. His dad is a Tuxedo cat who is part Siamese, resulting in him being a "snowshoe Siamese"--an unusual Siamese colored cat with sable tabby points and white mitts and tummy. We named him Cyril after a Russian Grand Duke because he is so imperious, but he answers to his baby name of "Infant". He also argues with his uncle Fritter about being royal (Fritter insists he should be honest and admit to being a barn cat).
