The PAD-CO Parent Survey Results
(Learn About and Join Parents of Adults with Disabilities in Colorado)
Imagine - A survey designed BY parents FOR parents with the questions PARENTS want answered. Almost all surveys of parents are by professional organizations or service providers, asking the questions THEY want answered.
This survey has been developed, the results displayed for you, and the web site was built entirely by volunteers. No taxpayer or grant dollars were spent; the costs were paid for by members of PAD-CO.
In January and February, 2007, an extensive internet survey (59 questions) was made available to parents of children with disabilities of all ages. There were 239 responses from 29 counties in Colorado, covering the ages of children from newborn to 51+ years old. The survey has now been compiled by a graduate student in partial completion of her master's program.
