My Favorite Belt Bag

This pouch measures 3-3/4"w x 3-3/4"h, not including the fringe and belt loop.  It features deep red and black three-cut beads as well as cornflower blue and white seed beads.  The leather is gold deer hide. The pouch is made in three pieces, with the twisted fringe being part of the back piece.  The stamped button closure is silver.

The beadwork is done in lazy stitch with a slight difference in that the beads go the opposite direction of traditional lazy stitch.  I did this in order to accommodate the design.

Most of my beadwork is done with size 12 beads.  For smaller projects especially, this size allows me to get a lot of detail.
