What's in Custodian II?

Custodian II consists of a series of data-entry forms into which you can enter information from lots of different sources. They are mainly designed for UK sources but some forms, such as those for the Vital Records Index (VRI), can also be used for information from other countries e.g. North America and Australia (in the case of the VRI). Many of the other forms can be used for source material from anywhere in the world e.g. the form for Newspapers.

All names from your forms are included in the Master Index, which you can browse, search and then access any record from. As well as including all the names from standard name fields, you can now select names from free-format text boxes to be included in the Index (or you can leave some out - the choice is yours!).

The limit for the number of records which can be stored in
Custodian II is in excess of

2 billion !!

Below is a list of all the data-enty forms currently available. A selection of these are on further web pages for you to look at - click on as many as you like to get an idea of how Custodian II looks and/or view our slideshow.
