We serve Christian Schools and Home Schooled Athletes

Who is the ACCE?
The ACCE is an athletic conference which serves the community of Christian Educators, including home educators and private academies.

What is our purpose?
The ACCE desires to provide a forum for student athletes to achieve as high as they can dream in Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, and Volleyball.

Who is eligible to play in the ACCE?
Eligible students include junior high and high school age athletes. For example, A typical ACCE basketball program will compete in basketball at both the Junior Varsity Level with students up to age 16, and also the Varsity level with students up to age 18. This same program would normally have teams for young men as well as young women, for a total of 4 basketball teams.

Middle school students from 6-8th grade also are participating the ACCE through our JV B-teams.

Why is the ACCE unique?
The most unique feature of the ACCE is we support home educators and Christian schools within one conference. With the rapid growth of home schooling, we saw a need to support these families with a high school level athletic opportunity. Also, we believe strongly in private Christian education. In many instances, the possible athletic affiliations for small Christian Schools leave a lot to be desired.

The ACCE is governed in an open, accountable format with input from all member programs. We believe integrity and character count more than athletic championships. Our students are taught this and our leadership is expected to live their lives in this fashion.

What is the process for chartering an ACCE program?
We invite private Christian schools and home educators to apply for an ACCE charter. Our policy manual and application are available for $10.00 and can be requested by email, snail mail or phone. We will review your application, meet with your leadership, advise and counsel where appropriate and then our board of trustees will take your application before our membership for a vote. New programs require a 75% majority for admission.

Where are ACCE affiliates located?
Presently, we have affiliates in North Atlanta, Gwinnett County (Outside Atlanta), Augusta, GA, Marietta, GA, Roswell, GA and many applications in process. It is our vision to establish 6 regions in Georgia and as well to establish state by state leadership to do the same throughout the southeast. We fully expect to see an ACCE in Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina and Florida.
