With all the distractions of our daily life, we sometime miss the opportunity to pray. So please join in this prayer as a reminder to pray often and humbly.
God, by the light of the Holy Spirit you instruct the hearts of your faithful. Grant that by the same Spirit I may be truely wise and ever enjoy his consolation, through Christ our Lord.
Our council has the privilege of serving two parishes, one each from the Washington and Baltimore diocese. St. Mary of the Mills in Laurel and Resurrection of Our Lord in Maryland City.

Prayer for the Family
Mother of Perpetual help, bless our families with your tender, Motherly love. May the sacrament of marriage bring husbands and wives ever closer together that they may always be faithful, and love each other as Christ loves us. Help all mothers and fathers love and cherish the children God has entrusted to them. May they always be models of a truly Christian life. Help all children that they may love and respect their parents. Inspire all people to value Christian marriage and family life. Give us a sense of responsibility that we may do our part in making our homes havens of love and peace. Mary, our Model, help every family grow daily in genuine love for God and neighbor so that justice and peace may flourish everywhere in the human family. Amen.

Our Lady, Queen of the Knights, bless all the activities of our Order. Keep us true to the pledge to extend the kingship of thy Divine Son on earth. Through Thine intercession, win for us the grace ever to exemplify in our public and private lives, the virtues which should characterize those specially dedicated to the service of the heavenly court. Make us always aware that as your Knights we are constantly observed, our faith judged and our Order appreciated.
