National Power Boat Handling Course |

Course description:
To provide the skills and
background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the
International Certificate of Competence.
Aim:
It includes Close quarters handling, high speed manoeuvres, man
overboard recovery and collision regulations
Pre course standards:
Over 14yrs, ( Persons aged between 14 & 16 years of Age
holding the RYA level 2 ticket must be accompanied by an adult whilst
coxswain of a powered craft)
COST OF COURSE = £70:00:
This will include RYA Log Book. RYA Course Notes and RYA 2
certificate etc |

RYA Safety Boat Handling
Course |

Course description:
RYA Safety Boat course, this course is
designed to teach rescue techniques to experienced level 2 powerboat
operators.
Aim:
The course
aims to develop individual handling techniques in the recovery & rescue of
a variety of sailing / powered vessels on tidal waters.
Pre course standards:
Min Age is = 16yrs +
RYA Level 2 with at least 1 season /
6 months experience
COST OF COURSE = £70.00
This will include any necessary documentation, although you will be
expected to have your RYA Log Book and Course Notes from the RYA
Level 2 course. Failure to produce a RYA L2 certificate will also prohibit
you from being able to achieve the Safety Boat Course Ticket |
