As much as I would like to, I can’t travel to every event that Starfleet holds. But that doesn't mean you can't get Starfleet items at your gathering!
First, and a nice easy way to have QM items at your event, is pre-ordering. People who are going to attend your event can pre-order whatever they want, and I will mail all the items ordered like this to someone in charge of the event, and they will give them out at registration (or some such). The good part is that your postage charge is cut in half! The bad parts are that you don’t get to ‘shop’ since no extra stuff is sent.
Some events, close enough for me to drive to, I’ll attend in person, and bring the whole pile of twenty-five or so boxes of QM stuff. That will mostly apply to Region 02 events, some R1 events, and the IC if I can drive to it.
What follows is a list of events, confirmed and probable, and my plans to date on what is going to happen. If you are planning an event, and it’s not listed (or if your event is listed, and there are errors), email me at quartermaster@sfi.org, and I’ll update this.
2008 – August - Starfleet International Conference 2008 – http://www.ic2008.org/ confirmed. Probably too far to drive, I will be contacting IC staff about having them run QM table, and shipping a reasonable amount of QM merchandise, based on sales of prior years, so that little will have to be returned.
