PEAhopeless Beauty and the Beast fan fiction
* A sister-site to the original PEAhopeless site.
Site contains Beauty and the Beast fiction, based on the late eighties tv series. However, it's "classic" ... Catherine is, and remains, alive and well. Warning, if you click on a mature audience link, then you guarantee that you're 17+.
- Please note, all stories are interlinked, within one chronological timeline. In that sense, they are not entirely stand-alone. Each story assumes that my other stories also happened. I can't help it, that's just how I write. And obviously, B&B is owned by ... let's see ... Koslow, and Martin, and ... Paramount now?
- Updates ...No set schedule, will come as they do.
- Also, if you've seen my other site (a Doctor Who based site), you know how I tend to create timelines in order to keep things straight in my head. I haven't done that for this site yet, but I probably will -- and quite soon. In the meantime, I tried to drop timing hints in the top notes of each story. And they are listed chronologically.
- Also, for the last five years, as of the time I'm opening this little site, I've been a writer in the Doctor Who realm. (I continue to do so, my Doctor Who site being here: PEAhopeless.) One day I wrote a BatB crossover for that Doctor Who world. Why? Because I had a theory as to why Vincent is the way he is. That was what first 'taught' me how to 'hear' Vincent and Catherine. I decided to include that crossover (and its follow-up) on this site as well. They're in a separate section, near the bottom of this page. I do think some BatB fans will like them as well.
Classic BatB stories:
- Down to the Earth (A week or so after the episode "God Bless the Child".)
- A Very European Christmas
- Sort Of (During the "Dead of Winter" episode.)
- The Poorest Man
- For the Greater Good
- Little Silver Bell (The first night after Vincent's breakdown in the cave.)
- Blessed Whispers (A change to the ending of the second season. Catherine remains alive and well. In "Though Lovers Be Lost", there's a scene about 20 minutes in, where Vincent and Catherine are sitting in the tunnels listening to the symphony. This story takes place immediately after.)
- In Just Hours (A few days after "Blessed Whispers", and about a week after Vincent's breakdown.)
- Mr. Hardy's Advice (A few weeks after Blessed Whispers.)
- Atalanta Left Behind (Warning, mature audience, 17+ only.)
- Anything and Everything
- Flickering Candlelight (Soon after Catherine moves below, she brings something new to Vincent's chamber.)
- What I Hear (Elliot Burch appears)
- Family
- By Your Own Accord (Warning, mature audience, 17+ only. Immediately follows "Family".)
- There Will Be No Virgin Birth (Warning, mature audience, 17+ only.)
- That's What I Wanted to See (Halloween, a few days after "No Virgin Birth".)
- Prey (Warning, mature audience, 17+ only. Hours after "That's What I Wanted to See".)
- What Was Already There (Inspired by something Catherine said during the "Fair and Perfect Knight" episode.)
- This Last Hour of Sunset (Rapists/murderers are loose in Central Park and the police are planning a search of the tunnels. The community must either move, or catch the criminals themselves.)
- This Year (Preparations for a Winterfest.)
- I Prefer This One (Warning, mature audience, 17+ only.)
- Whirlwind
- Center of Attention (A bit of a social event.)
Crossovers with Doctor Who:
- Ubiquitous (A strange visitor to the tunnels brings news that significantly benefits Vincent and Catherine. This is the story that comes over from my original PEAhopeless site.)
- More (Warning, mature audience, 17+ only. Follows "Ubiquitous".)

Please note ... If you email me, be sure to put some mention of Beauty and the Beast somewhere in the subject. If I don't see something to tell me it's a response related to these websites (or, of course, if I don't already recognize your email address), I don't want to mistake it for spam.
