| Orignally started from a single page, this
site has now expanded into several pages, mainly on the
operation of small and mini-roundabouts but also now on
Traffic Calming. The pages have moved to www.mini-roundabout.com. I became independent in 1993 setting up my own business then. My specialist training at TRL after graduation enabled me to write on mini-roundabouts, where there was clearly a considerable information gap. |
My book has sold well. The subsequent
seminar series has resulted in tours of the UK and a tour
in America, a visit to the Cayman Islands and Italy. For the future I remain convinced that the benefits to people in terms of making their urban or village environment "liveable" is in the use of these devices and not using traffic signals to "control" what is going on. Hertfordshire have discovered this at Borehamwood (UK) a flagship scheme well worth visiting. |
