Tune that Brian Liked
This is a little dulcimer tune I cooked up when I was flunking out of the
University of Michigan, circa 1981. My roommate, Brian McGraw, actually
complimented it. It stuck in my head because it's the first time anyone
ever complimented my music. This is very easy to play on the dulcimer, at
least the way I play, because I composed it as much by feel as by sound.
Someday, if I figure out how, I hope to post a real recording, actually
played on the dulcimer.
If you want to hear it on your own mountain dulcimer, here is the tablature
for playing it yourself. Let me know if you try this out, especially if
there is any problem with the tab (it should agree with the midi sound, at least
for a CGG tuning).

music for you live, and if the instruments sound really cheesy, it's the
fault of your web browser. |
