Why Do Comets Always Appear at 5:00 in the Morning

Just sitting down with Ginger one evening, I thought it would be nice to play with some unusual harmonies--well unusual for me, anyway.  The way I tune and string my dulcimer, I can only play 3-note chords. If I want to to play 7th chords, I can only do part of them.  I'm not even sure what the technical term is for the chords this starts with, but they have a gentle dissonance that makes me think of the half-asleep mindset of one looking out the window at the stars at 5:00 in the morning.

Like many of my dulcimer tunes, I am compensating for the deficiencies of the midi format by embellishing with extra strings.  I finally got around to tabbing this out in case anyone wants to play it.  There are a couple minor differences between the midi file and how I play it.  The Midi file repeats the first two lines on the second run through, because I'm adding layers of strings and it seems right, but I I just play them once the second time through when I play live.  And somehow I didn't put the two extra chords in the 4th line of the tab into the midi version.  I don't knwo why not.
