Welcome to the home of GOLDMINE SLOTS
You have to download them and play them at home. They do not connect to any Internet site when running.
Goldmine Slots. It's getting a little old and tired now. I wrote this program in 1994, when Windows 3.1 was state of the art and anything worthwhile only ran properly in DOS. Times have changed. Windows 95 arrived just after Goldmine and was followed by Windows 98, and now Windows ME. Goldmine version 2 was happy with 95, less so with 98, and appears not to run at all in Windows ME. In other words, it's past due for a new version. In 1994 a lot of people (including me) only had a 486 computer, and there were still a lot of 386's around. Goldmine was full of clever tricks to get the graphics to animate properly on those old, slow machines, tricks that aren't needed in these days of superscalar processors and AGP video. I started out trying to convert the old DOS Goldmine to Windows, but there really wasn't much that could be saved. The good news is that with today's computers and Direct-X I can use much more sophisticated graphics. The much-requested "Australian Machines" (multi-line video slots) become possible. Goldmine version 3 isn't finished yet, but it will be.
I appreciate the letters I get asking about new games, and I apologize
for making everyone wait so long. I promise it will be worth the wait.
