Parent Finders, National Capital Region (PFNCR) is a support group and private registry located in Ottawa and made up of people who believe in the importance of reuniting families separated by adoption. We feel that the option to seek one's biological origins at adulthood belongs solely to the individual.
We are a volunteer non-profit organization, part of the Parent Finders of Canada network with contacts across the country, the United States and Internationally. Parent Finders NCR was formed in Ottawa in 1976 and incorporated in the province of Ontario in 1987.

PFNCR welcomes everyone. We encourage adult adoptees over 18, birth parents, fostered adults, birth siblings, birth relatives and adoptive parents to register with us. Persons under 18 may apply for membership with written permission from a parent or legal guardian.
