The kit was started in March of 1997 and after 3 years and some 1500 plus man hours later, we had our first flight in May 2000. It flew hands off the first time. In Dec of 2006 we replaced our factory landing gear with the Grove Spring Gear. Check out our EAA web site for detailed photos of the conversion. We now have over 300 plus hours on the aircraft and love it.
