2. Depth of Field Calculator (Photo - takes about 30 seconds to load)

If you use zooms that don't have depth of field scales, our Depth of Field Guide is an essential tool for your camera bag. This simple slide chart has depth-of-field scales for cameras - just like lenses used to have, only larger and more precise. With this calculator, you can choose the best aperture settings to control image sharpness.

Two different slide charts are available:

Instructions on how to use hyperfocal distance data are included. If you enjoy landscape photography this is probably the most important accessory you can have in your camera bag! Cards available for:
- 35mm (16mm - 300mm lenses from f/5.6 - f/32)
- Medium Format (30mm - 300mm, f/5.6 - f/32)

This unique card will help you control your image sharpness if you use a telephoto for wildlife, scenics, action, or portraits! Information is provided regarding depth-of-field by focal length, aperture setting, focus distance, and resulting subject "frame" size. This card is much easier and faster to use than depth-of-field scales for telephoto lenses. Cards available for:

"They are easy to use, very durable (ideal for field use) & contain loads of information which I didn't even expect. Their size is also ideal because they practically fit anywhere."
Jan Sammut - Malta (Europe)

"I just received your three slide rules and they are everything I expected them to be. The ease of use makes these a must for any photographer. Like a lot of us, I have carried similar information with me for years but the formats make them difficult to use (like the round, rotating wheels or tables with more information than I really need). It is for these reasons why I'm ordering a set of the wallet cards."

R.H.N. - Groton, CT

"I wanted to congratulate you for filling an important niche with your quick reference instructional products."
Steve Gilroy, Alaska Photo Tours - Talkeetna, AK

"Every serious photographer can be caught "dead in the water" sometimes and these can certainly come to the rescue. I've already used them in the classes than I teach. I think that you have done the amateur and professional a big service by publishing these because we just can't remember it all."
Henry T. Gurley - Louisville, KY

"Will be useful for me especially when I'm working in the field doing freelance work. No more need to worry about guessing."
J.U. - Thunderbay - Ontario, Canada

"They are a quick reference when one comes across a situation that requires correct camera controls."
Al Lopinot - Litchfield, IL

"I find the guides a time saver."
