Peinkofer Associates is a consultation agency.

Our agency formally began in early 1997 to bring information related
to Shaken Baby Syndrome and child abuse to the greater community.

We provide phone and email consultation, case review, courtroom expert testimony,
training and in-person assessment.

James Peinkofer, LCSW is a clinical pediatric social worker who has reviewed hundreds of
child abuse cases for the purposes of both research and case consultation.  He has solved many
cold abuse child abuse deaths.  He is the author of 101 Ways to Soothe a Crying Baby,
Silenced Angels: the Medical, Legal, and Social Aspects of Shaken Baby Syndrome, and
the new book about a female serial killer of infants, Lilacs in the Rain.

Christine Colt, MS has her Master’s Degree in Counseling and works with
children with emotional and behavioral problems.  She is a consultant and
research assistant for Peinkofer Associates.
