| Lisa (the author of this page)- burgundy and gold sari, matching reticule,
short (though should be long) gloves. I liked it...(grin) |
Catherine- dark green cotton and off white floral print, trained gown ,
with off white trim, with a silk and fringe shawl. Wonderful... |
Darla- dark green silk overlaid with gold gauze, appliqueed with velvet
leaves and embroidered vines. Breathtaking. |
| Recognize this one from Cunnington? It's on page 50. She made up the
front.... I was very impressed. |
Gorgeous beaded fabric of burgundy silky material and velvet... Particularly
stunning. |
Royal purple and gold sari with an interesting hem on the overskirt.
Regally lovely. |
| Green silk with gold motif. Neckline is set off with green velvet.
Sleeves had a great jewel detail. Absolutely yummy! |
Toni- White muslin with neck ruffle. Simply beautiful. (Toni could
make a potato sack look great.) |
Cloth of white shot with gold warp and weft threads. Trim with gold
suns. Tiara/diadem continues sun theme. I loved this one... |
| A very congenial group... |
Lovely young girls... |
Lovely ladies... |
| Sheila is wearing a white muslin gown with long gloves. This one looked
particularly period.. |
Looking mighty lovely in a white round gown and a dark apricot overgown,
had an accident with some red wine. |
The other sari, in royal blue and gold. Gorgeous! |
| Sea-faring captain makes off with the booty after the ball. |
Revolitionaries! In our midst? Indeed. |
Another dashing military man to make hearts flutter. |
Napoleonic Hussars 7th something or other
| Yes girls, they're even more awesome in person than they are in a
picture. There were many hearts swooning. Heath on the left and Christian
on the right. |
Hmmmm. In the interest of costuming, I asked to take this shot from
the rear. At least that's what I told them. (grin) |
