From 1973 until the end of 2001, I taught English and Creative Writing at the UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY in Annapolis, MD.

Now, I am finding more time to explore new directions in my writing while leading private workshops, consulting, and writing my "Book Beat" column in the Naples Sun Times. I am also active in the Naples Press Club, co-chairing its annual Authors and Books Festival.
