Indexing Services 

 
Because of my technical background and computer experience, I have written indexes for many computer-related manuals. I can write an index embedded in MS Word or FrameMaker or as a regular ASCII file using CINDEX dedicated indexing software. I can deliver index files electronically via email or overnight courier. 

My areas of expertise include:

• American and New York history

One of the common problems that I see in indexes is too many page references under a main heading. There should only be 5-6 page references. If there are more than 5 or 6 page references, they should be broken down into subentries for the benefit of the reader.
