Lisa made this beautiful
grave blanket for her sister, Rebecca.
Lisa used a 3" by 5" wide board and around 3 foot long with floral foam on top and floral tape holding them together in 4 or 5 places. She got pine branches at a tree farm. Then, cut the branches into various sizes and start sticking them into the floral foam, cutting pieces smaller as you go to fill in the areas. I would recommend wearing heavy work gloves or you hands and arms will be quite scratched up. Once the branches are in the foam they should hold. For any decorations or ribbons, Lisa used floral wire wrapped around the item and then wrapped the wire around the branches. She put a heavy board at bottom only because the grave site is in the country and did not want the grave blanket to blow away. You could use a 2" x 4' cut to the length you want the blanket to be.
