"I would ask you to remember only this one thing," said Badger. "The stories people tell have a way of taking care of them. If stories come to you, care for them. And learn to give them away where they are needed. Sometimes a person needs a story more than food to stay alive. That is why we put these stories in each other's memory. This is how people care for themselves. One day you will be good storytellers. Never forget these obligations." (Lopez, 1990, p. 48).

As I mentioned at my home page, one of my hobbies is exploring the fantasy universe of Glorantha.
Glorantha is primarily a role playing game (RPG) setting. As an RPG, the game system of RuneQuest (in it's various versions, by it's various owners) has been used to longest to explore it. The most recent game system to describe Glorantha is HeroQuest.
I am presently hosting the following areas of exploration in Glorantha:
I also have a few of my Gloranthan stories, such as:
Below is my very short list of links to a few of the other pages with more stuff about Glorantha (just so you can get started exploring on your own).
Michaele Maurer's critique of Joseph Campbell's book is Talking back to The Hero with a Thousand Faces.
Laura Bryannan has An Exploration of God and Goddess Archetypes.
J. Patrick McDonald has an interesting essay about Mythic Structure in Role-Playing Games.
