Greetings, and welcome to my little slice of cyberlife!
Just like in "real" life, the "me" presented here is under perpetual construction and reconstruction. So watch out for thoughtholes and follow the detours!
Please feel free to email any commentary, criticisms, critiques, cries of outrage, etc to me.
When I'm not typing words to go on some insubstantial medium (which is none the less just as "real" an existance as when the computer is turned off) I have my family life, my professional life, and my hobbies (among other things) to keep me busy.
I am married to a wonderful woman named Allyson. We've been married since 1990, and now have two children. My son, Benjamin, was born November 1, 1991. My daughter, Elena, was born May 6, 1994.
When time allows I will add some pictures and more information about me and my family.
I am a marriage and family therapist, completing the Master's Program in Family and Child Development (FCD) at the Virginia Tech Northern Virginia Center. (I've also been a busy little webster, and have put the skills I've learned setting up these personal pages to use in creating the VT NVC web site!) I am working towards clinical membership in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and licensure as an LMFT in Virginia.
At the moment I am focusing my energies on my thesis project, which I plan to complete in April in order to graduate in June.
My résumé and more information about my approach to therapy will be added to this page at some point.
Social organizations which I support include the Southern Poverty Law Center, Habitat for Humanity, the Drug Policy Foundation, and Amnesty International.
During those rare moments when I'm not involved doing something with/for my family or school, I like to relax by reading, listening to music, and exploring the fantasy world of Glorantha.
