Vac Head Assembly

First, cut the 3/4" pvc pipe into six 2" and two 6" pieces.  Take a circular saw or a table saw and cut a 1/4" lengthwise section out of one of the 6" pieces.  (The 6" section with slit is on the right of the above picture.  The 2" pieces are used between the elbows and the 3/4" T's.  The 6" pieces are used at either end of the assembly.  On the solid 6" piece, slip the 1" T over it.  Adjust the 6" piece of pvc pipe with the slit in it so that the slit is facing downward.   Do not glue any of these pieces!

Screw the male 3/4" tubing connector into the center T.  (In the above photo, I used a female connector and a convertor in a piece of pipe that already had a pipe in place. This is not necessary.   I was using pieces of pipe and parts I had to try out this vac.)

Cut the 1" pvc pipe for the length you need to reach half way across your pond.  Push it into the 1" T fitting.  With this T in place and the handle in place, you can clean have the width of your pond and then flip the T over to go around to the other side of your pond and clean it.
