These holders fit business cards and credit cards quite well. To decorate we suggest using your decorative business card. However, you could insert any sort of cardstock or paper decorated whatever way you like, including with advertising.

To decorate with Photographs:
Make copies of your photographs, (checkbooks sometimes get lost, you don't want to lose your favorite photos). Glue photos directly to your cardstock or cut frames for them to look out of.
To decorate with Rubber Stamps:
You can use pigment inks on the matte side of the cardstock or any other ink on the glossy side. Try all over designs, like neato stuff's texture cubes. Or stamp a scene. Combine stamps with another medium, ie. ribbon, confetti, charms, photos, scraps of decorative paper.
To decorate with Fabric:
There are a couple products on the market that can be ironed onto the backside of almost any fabric making it so you can iron it onto your cardstock. Ask at your local craft or fabric store. Just follow the product instructions.

Hand your kids the cardstock--they'll know what to do !
